How to Create a Remote Drive

As the owner of a drive, you can turn any Local Drive into a Remote Drive, allowing others to access the library. It's important to remember that all drives start as Local Drives. They are hosted on the domain where they were created and can source files from that domain. A drive becomes "Remote" once you have configured access.

The steps for creating a Remote Drive are very similar to connecting to a drive so be sure to check that out as a reference. Under the drive settings, you can configure access through a SiteDrive Key, login information, or by domain. Remember that that visibility setting must be turned on in order for someone to access the drive.
