How Licensing Works

A valid license is required for each site using SiteDrive. Once purchased, you will receive a confirmation email that includes your license key. You can also find the license key in your account dashboard.

Next, activate the SiteDrive plugin. You will be greeted with this welcome screen where you can add your license key. Once completed, SiteDrive is now validated, and you can create or connect to a drive.

If your purchase includes multiple sites, you will use the same key to validate each site, up to the limit included in your plan. You can add or remove your key by going to Settings > License in SiteDrive.

Q: Can I use my license on client sites?

Yes, you can use your license to validate client sites.

Q: Are there any restrictions?

You can never resell a license, and you may only share a license with a client or customer. See terms.

Q: Should my client purchase their own license?

It's up to you. With their own account, they will be able to keep the license in their name and possession. This is generally a best practice so they have direct access, however it is ultimately up to you and your client.
